1. The deal

anonlog.in (the “Service”) is a free, public, best-effort identity service. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service (the “Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. No warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE OPERATORS DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY DATA STORED OR TRANSMITTED THROUGH THE SERVICE WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR PRESERVED.

3. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE OPERATORS, AUTHORS, OR CONTRIBUTORS OF THE SERVICE BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES) ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR ACCESS TO, USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR DISSATISFACTION WITH THE SERVICE IS TO STOP USING IT.

4. Your responsibility

You are solely responsible for:

  • The security of your password, TOTP device, recovery codes, API keys, and OAuth client secrets.
  • Any activity that occurs under your account or any credential you create.
  • Backing up any data you depend on. The operators are not obligated to retain or recover your data.
  • Complying with all applicable laws and the rights of others when using the Service.

You must not abuse the Service, including (without limitation) attempting to disrupt it, circumventing rate limits or access controls, probing for vulnerabilities except in good-faith security research disclosed privately, or using it to facilitate unlawful activity, spam, malware, phishing, harassment, or infringement.

5. No service-level commitment

The Service has no uptime guarantee, no support obligation, and no retention guarantee. The operators may modify, suspend, rate-limit, throttle, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, and may delete any account or data at any time and for any reason or no reason.

6. Changes to these Terms

The operators may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version at this URL. Your continued use of the Service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, your sole remedy is to stop using the Service.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. The operators may terminate or suspend your access at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice. Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, and 9 survive termination.

8. Indemnity

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the operators, authors, and contributors of the Service from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

9. Severability & entire agreement

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the operators regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
